Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Contact us and we’ll be happy to clear anything up.

  • Primarily massage services are at your home. However, we can explore alternative options if you have limited access to a favorable location.

  • A 5 × 10 ft area is required for our table and space to move around.

I have a table and all of the supplies needed for our sessions, but if you have an appropriate working surface in your home, I’m happy to use whatever tools you prefer.

It’s your session, so I’ll be prepared to practice under whatever conditions I arrive to find. I encourage clients with animals and children with the potential to interrupt a session to do what they can to limit distractions and interruptions, perhaps through the assistance of other caregivers.

  • Our aim is to promote a feeling of comfort, relaxation and calm.

Start by removing or limiting distractions where possible such as pets and people.

Burning incense, lighting candles, and oil diffusers are highly recommended, and being in your own home means you can use your favorite scents!

If you have a personal music playlist you would like to use we welcome this, although we can also provide this.

  • First time clients will fill out an intake form covering things like contact information, health history, and areas of focus for the session. We need to learn about any relevant medical conditions, medications, or areas of concern that would impact your treatment. This information is always kept private and is important to know so that we can conduct a safe and effective session.

  • We offer a referral incentive of $25 discount per client you refer that books a session.

Refer 5 people for a free massage!

  • Dress comfortably such as a robe or loose clothes until setup and a personal check-in to update on daily specific needs has been completed.

Your massage therapist will then leave the room to allow you to undress to your comfort level. Proper draping techniques with sheets are used throughout to maintain your modesty.

  • Ensure skin is clean and remove any jewelry, and use the bathroom before your session - although if you need to pause the session at any time this is not a problem.

Remind yourself that you are worthy of intentional touch and the benefits of bodywork. Self-judgement, shame, or fear can be left at the door of our sessions.
